An end to 2013 and looking upward and onward…

Well, here we are. 12.31.2013… Everyone is looking forward to 2014 and the New Year. I am glad. I hate the holidays. I know, I know, why? So many reasons- none of which I feel like writing about today. Again, this is about upward and onward and well, let’s focus on the future!

I see so much negativity on Facebook, the News, Media ect. that is has really began to bring my heart down. I really want to create a positive space for myself and you (whoever you are reading this post). Really, let’s be honest – it’s probably my mom reading this… and no one else. Oh well, I can reflect on this later!

So, what am I looking forward to in 2014? My son will turn 2 then end of next year… I can’t even imagine what life will be like then – I look forward to his smile every day. My husband will turn 38 the end of Jan. I look forward to celebrating him more and more – even his grumpy days…. well, sort-of 🙂 I look forward to some sort of financial relief (2013 was a hard year for us financially). Lastly, I look forward to growing another year with my dear friends and family in a positive space – SO: (drum roll please – New Year’s Revelation – withdrawal from the negative space that I dwell in… and look towards the light, the bright, the smiles…

I have no specific purpose for this blog, so if you are reading… I apologize in advance. Who knows, maybe one day I will solidify this and it will turn into something – if not, it will be my reflection of my year and life as a wife, mom, woman in the workforce, woman in society and a place to call my own.
